My Morning Routine
My morning routine is the part of the day that decides everything else. If I start the morning calm, organized, and with energy, the whole day feels easier.
What it is
My morning routine is the part of the day that decides everything else. If I start the morning calm, organized, and with energy, the whole day feels easier. If I start in a rush, forgetting things and running from one place to another, I feel stressed until the evening. Over the years, I have learned that a good morning does not happen by accident. It happens because of small habits, repeated every day, that prepare my body and my mind for what is coming. My alarm clock usually rings at six thirty in the morning. I do not like to jump out of bed immediately. First, I open my eyes slowly, stretch my arms and legs, and take a few deep breaths. The light in San Juan at that hour is soft and golden, and I can often hear the birds outside my window and, if I listen carefully, the famous coquí frogs finishing their night song. I check the time on my phone, but I try not to look at social media or messages right away. If I start scrolling in bed, I can easily waste twenty minutes and then feel guilty and hurried. Let's talk — 10 questions to discuss with your voice tutor: 1. What time do you usually wake up, and do you use an alarm clock or your phone? 2. What is the first thing you do when you get out of bed in the morning? 3. Do you prefer a hot shower, a cold shower, or a lukewarm shower in the morning, and why? 4. What do you normally eat and drink for breakfast? 5. Do you choose your clothes the night before or in the morning? Why? 6. Do you exercise in the morning? What kind of exercise do you like? 7. How do you plan your day — with a notebook, a calendar app, or in your head? 8. What part of your morning routine do you enjoy the most? 9. What usually makes your mornings stressful or rushed? 10. If you could change one thing about your morning routine, what would it be? 📖 La lectura completa llegará en una actualización (la plataforma ahora limita el texto por lección).
