Product pages now answer themselves in Google AI Mode

CallPages product pages now carry a Product Q&A section. At the bottom of each product page, shoppers see the questions people actually ask about that product; tapping one opens Google AI Mode with the question pre-asked, and the answers come from the product’s own page.

Shoppers increasingly ask questions instead of typing keywords — and they ask them to AI. A product page that only states a name and a price gives the AI little to work with, so answers come from somewhere else, or nowhere. The questions a product should answer were never on the page.

Shoppers ask questions now

Search is becoming a conversation. People ask their phones full questions — will this frame fit a small room, does it come in Twin, how fast is delivery — and AI answers them by reading the web. A business can be the source of those answers or a bystander to them. The questions section makes the product page the source: the questions live on the page, attached to the product they are about, in the language the page speaks.

Grounded, not generated fluff

The point is not decoration. Each question points at facts the page itself publishes — the product’s real description, its real price, the business’s real terms — so when Google AI Mode answers, it answers from the business’s own words. And the owner stays in control: one switch in the editor turns the whole section off, and the setting saves and reloads exactly like the rest of the page’s configuration.

How it works

  1. Each product page renders a questions section at the very bottom: natural questions about that specific product — its sizes, its use, its delivery — phrased the way a shopper would ask them.
  2. Every question links into Google AI Mode with the question pre-filled, so the shopper is one tap from an answer grounded in the product’s own published page.
  3. The section follows the page’s language — a Spanish product page asks its questions in Spanish.
  4. Owners control it with one switch (Product Q&A → Google AI Mode) in the page editor; it is on by default and round-trips through saves like every other setting.
