Ask Vasily Starostenko what he does, and he will not start with features or roadmaps. He will start with customers. I help Founders and Companies build great products and grow faster by delivering better experience to their customers. That one sentence is the root of everything he teaches, writes, and practices — a product philosophy organized around a single measure: maximum impact.

The philosophy grew out of a painful lesson he now tells on stage as a cautionary tale: A story about a product we called a success, but customers disagreed. The team shipped, the metrics moved internally, and the customers shrugged. That gap — between internal success theater and real customer value — is what the maximum-impact framework exists to close. It is not a process template. It is a discipline for staying honest about what counts.

The framework has three parts. First, Understand: Avoid Feature Fetish by Starting with a Problem Statement. Most product failures begin not with bad execution but with a bad starting point — a feature decided before the problem was understood. Vasily insists the problem statement comes first, written crisply enough that everyone on the team can argue with it.

Second, Experiment: Always Have a Hypothesis, But Don't Be Blinded by Science. He is a genuine believer in experimentation — it is one of the subjects he speaks about most — but he is equally skeptical of data theater. A hypothesis gives an experiment teeth; blind faith in numbers gives it cover. The discipline is to run the test, read the result honestly, and let the customer be right even when it costs you your favorite idea.

Third, Align: Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is. Impact dies in the gap between what a company says it values and what it funds. If customer experience is the priority, the calendar and the budget have to show it. His MoneyLIVE-era summary of the mission says it plainly: understanding and exceeding customer expectations — Deliver WOW.

And the personal engine underneath it all: Pushing hard toward bright future. That is his tagline, and it is not a pose. Across startups, Tesla, Revolut, his own companies, and thousands of students taught online, the pattern is the same — start with the customer, test honestly, align the resources, and never confuse shipping with impact.
