Android v1.5.1: a front screen that earns its place
2026-10-17 · CallPages Team · Release, Android, App

CallPages Android v1.5.1 is out. It brings a redesigned front screen and built-in Share so owners can send their page anywhere in one tap; the release on the public download page was verified byte-for-byte against the signed build. Native customer sign-in follows in v1.5.2.
The app’s first screen is its handshake — and the old one didn’t say what CallPages is becoming. Owners also had no fast way to spread their page from the device where they run their business: sharing meant copying links by hand.
Improvements only — and labeled as such

v1.5.1 does two things and claims exactly two: a front screen worth showing people, and sharing that takes one tap. The bigger prize — customers signing in natively in the app — was blocked on a server endpoint that did not exist. Rather than dress the release up, we shipped the endpoint in this web release and put the app surface on the very next train: v1.5.2. Release notes should read like engineering, not advertising.
How it works
- A new front screen leads the app: a futuristic hero that presents the business’s page the way the web does, designed to be shown to a customer, not just used by the owner.
- Share is built in: one tap sends the page through the phone’s own share sheet — messages, WhatsApp, anywhere — with the page’s real link.
- The release process is part of the feature: the APKs on the download page were downloaded back and hash-verified against the signed builds (both processor variants), and the app’s full JVM test suite passes 155/155.
- What is NOT in 1.5.1, said plainly: native customer sign-in. It needed one missing piece on the server — a customer token exchange — which this web release now ships; the app side lands as v1.5.2.

The download surface, from the production verification run: the v1.5.1 builds served here were downloaded and matched byte-for-byte to the signed release — what the page offers is what was tested.
