2026.10.12 — City guides, complete languages, and visitors in plain sight
What’s new in 2026.10.12
A language is only on when the whole page speaks it
Tick a language and CallPages now translates everything — products, collections, stories, and every line of the page’s own chrome — right away, and an automated completeness test refuses to call a half-translated page done.
CallPages for iPhone
The CallPages merchant app now runs on iPhone as well as Android — same pages, calls, and products, at parity with Android v1.4.3 — free to install, with no App Store required.
City restaurant guides, built from real CallPages restaurants
A guide page gathers every restaurant CallPage in a city into one searchable site — real menus, real prices, tap-to-call on every page — and it updates itself as member pages change.
WhatsApp bookings land on your CallPages calendar
When a customer books through your WhatsApp business agent, the appointment now appears in CallPages automatically — one calendar for calls, chats, and walk-ins.
Fixed: page settings that showed the wrong values
The settings editor could show blank or stale values for fields that were set all along — and saving from that screen risked overwriting the real configuration. Your saved settings were never lost; now the editor reflects them.
Fixed: the ‘Online now’ panel that never saw anyone
The Online now panel promised to show visitors browsing your page right now, but a wiring bug meant it never could. It works now: watch visitors live, and act while they’re still deciding.
